What to expect from my Massage: I use my training and experience to develop a massage that is customized for each individual session, based on what my clients tell me. When you arrive for a massage the first few minutes will be used for collecting information about you. You are welcome to take this time to explain to me what you are looking for in your massage experience that day. Like if there are any areas that you want focused on or avoided. I will then leave the room while you disrobe to your comfort level and get on the table. During the massage; the level of pressure ranges from light pressure to excruciatingly delightful. Usually I am good at figuring out which kind of pressure to use, but in the end you are the only one who knows what feels good, feedback is appreciated. |

Types of Massage: I employ several different styles of massage into my routine, including: · Deep Tissue — Many people think that deep tissue is painful, it doesn’t have to be. Deep tissue employs techniques that allows the therapist to reach the deeper layers of the muscle. Some people like to feel that “hurt so good feeling”, I can accommodate those people. If you’re not looking for a painful massage, but want to ease tension, I can accommodate those people as well. · Relaxation— Most of my clients return because they just want to relax. During the massage I use hot towels, long flowing strokes, and a heated table to ensure the greatest relaxation for my clients. This can also be used in conjunction with a firmer pressure massage.
· Sports Massage— During my High School years, I was a competitive swimmer, water polo player, and a tri-athlete. I have also had some first hand experience with repetitive stress injuries. Many of my clients come and see me from with soreness from their sports or life. I use a great deal of stretching and mobilization techniques for these athletes. |
